Don’t Ever Give Up!!

by Tony on April 30, 2012

Life will not always be easy.  You will face storms at some point in your life, or even multiple times in your life.  It may feel like you are in a constant storm with no end in sight.  Some storms will be easier than others.  Others will make you feel like your world is crumbling down on you.

You may at times think that you are not good enough.  Maybe you will think that you weren’t meant to have this, or that.  You will want to give up because it is too hard, or the obstacles seem too hard to overcome.

These doubts can come from many angles.  Friends and family may tell you that you cannot accomplish something.  Your teachers, peers, and society may tell you that you’re not good enough.  Your environment may indirectly tell you that you cannot do it.  You may even think that you cannot accomplish something because you are unable to see the goal.

Other setbacks may present themselves that will attempt to hold you back.  You may take a hit financially which can be pretty devastating.  Relationship problems.  Loss of a loved one.  There are so many things that can knock someone down and keep them down.  Don’t let this happen to you.

Let me set something straight right now!  You are good enough!  You do know enough!  And there is nothing in this world that can hold you back EXCEPT YOU!!  Let me repeat that.  You can only hold yourself back, nothing else.  All the different scenarios above cannot, unless you ALLOW them to.

You can achieve infinitely more than you think you can.  All you need to do is believe you can, and have the confidence and courage to keep pushing forward.  Anyone can achieve just about anything they put their minds to.

Being prepared for the storms before they even hit, will allow you to get through them much easier!  I’m not saying they will be EASY.  I’m saying they will be EASIER!  The key here is to never give up!

When life knocks you down, get up, dust yourself off, smile, and move forward.  Focus on what matters most to you.  Do not focus on the problem.  Always focus on the solution.  If what you’re doing isn’t working, choose a different path, not a different dream.  Keep going until you reach it!

You are working toward a goal, a dream.  WHY is the achievement of that goal important to you?  You need to understand why, and the why needs to be extremely compelling.  You will focus on the WHY when you face a storm head on.

Perseverance and focus will get you through a storm.  Have faith in yourself, and faith in what you’re doing, and you can achieve the unimaginable.  It’s the biggest dreams that face the most resistance!  So dream big and win big, you deserve it!!

Why I Do What I Do

by Tony on April 3, 2012

I do what I do because of my own struggles in life.  I have been held back for years by my limiting beliefs that sabotaged my efforts without me realizing it.  Something has been holding you back as well, or you wouldn’t be here reading this right now.

I would find success, then fall flat on my face.  I would do it again, then fall again.  This was a continuous cycle, and I couldn’t figure out why.  Do you wonder the same?  I truly wanted to be successful, wealthy, etc., but that was on the conscious level.  On the subconscious level I was broke.

I was also searching for success for the wrong reasons.  My definition was completely distorted and I was chasing the wrong things.  I was searching just for money and nothing else.  Granite, there is nothing wrong with money, but if that is the sole purpose of why you’re doing what you’re doing, you will fail miserably.  My priorities were way out of line.

I read personal developments books like no tomorrow, attended seminars, listened to CD’s, everything I could get my hands on hoping that it would giving me the missing puzzle pieces.  I saw some changes, but didn’t seem like I was getting what I wanted.

Then, my life was changed in February 2011 when my wife of 6 months passed away unexpectedly, leaving me to raise our, at the time, 5 year old daughter.  My life was shattered.  I spent the next six months picking up the pieces and trying to make sense of it all.  It was through this time where I realized how much that personal development actually made a difference.

It was also through this time that I found my purpose, as well as realized my limiting beliefs.  I do what I do for two reasons.

1. I want to help make a difference in other people’s lives that are caught in the middle of a storm.

2. I do not want my daughter to grow up with the beliefs that I, and so many others, struggled with.  I want confidence to ooze from her, to    where she can accomplish anything she chooses without limitations.  I want her to have a better life than I had.  As a matter of fact, I want all my kids to have a better life.  The other three are teenagers so it will be easier to influence the little one.

You may have suffered a traumatic loss in your life.  Whether it be a loss of a loved one.  Loss of a job.  Loss of a dream.  Loss of a relationship.  Or whatever the tragedy may be for you that has gotten you to the point you feel you cannot move forward.  You don’t have to stay stuck in the storm, you can get through it.  You just need the tools for navigating through them.  I know these tools, and use them to navigate through my own storms.

I’ll end by informing you of this.  My future blog postings will be written as life advice letters to my daughter Kailee.  Although my goal is to inspire all my kiddos, Kailee may encounter new struggles as she realizes and understands more about the loss of her mommy.  As I hope they will serve her through her journey to adulthood, and throughout her entire life, I hope they serve you as well and help you reach the life you desire and deserve.

Have a blessed day!!
